General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
Any information provided through the registration form will undergo computer processing by ML Smart Events. This processing is conducted solely for the logistical organization of the 17th PSC and is managed by ML Smart Events on behalf of the organizers.
In accordance with the Data Protection Act of January 6th, 1978, as amended in 2004, and the EU regulation 2016/679 of April 27th, 2016 on personal data protection (GDPR), you have the right to access and rectify all of your personal data at any time. To exercise this right and access your personal data, please contact us at ML Smart Events. Additionally, you have the right to object, on legitimate grounds, to the processing of your personal data.
By participating in 17th PSC in person, registered delegates grant the organizers permission to use any photographs or videos taken during the congress. These images may be made available on the congress website and partner media channels, solely for communication activities related to the event. They will not be used for any purposes that could damage reputation.
Cancellation Policy
Delegates who find themselves unable to attend the 17th PSC after submitting a registration form are encouraged to nominate a substitute attendee. All substitutions and cancellations must be communicated in writing via email to efstath@ucy.ac.cy.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations made until August 30, 2024: 50% penalty.
Cancellations made from September 1, 2024 onwards: No refund – 100% penalty.
Exceptions:
If you are unable to obtain a visa and can provide supporting documentation, we will refund 100% of your fees (excluding 50€ administrative costs and banking fees for the refund), provided we receive the notification at least 30 days prior to the conference.
Please note that conference organizers are unable to process refund requests resulting from cancelled flights and/or natural disasters/calamities.
